Kun ei itse pärjää, pitää pyytää apua muilta. Tulevana tiistaina osallistun CBSn 4 x 2,5 kilometrin viestijuoksukilpailuun osana joukkuetta. Porukassa on mukavampaa olla huono :)
Kilpailun järjestelyt ovat lähestulkoon paremmat kuin vaikkapa Helsinki City Run:issa (HCR). Alla otteita saamastani kilpailuohjeesta:
- Time and place Tuesday 15 September 2009 at 15:30 at Solbjerg Plads 3, 2000 Frederiksberg. CBS Sport has arranged warm-up for all runners, after which the starter’s pistol is fired at 16:00.
- Issuing of race numbers, baton and running T-shirts One runner from each team is to pick up the team’s race numbers, baton and CBS Campus Relay T-shirts prior to the relay race. Pick-up is in the main hall at Solbjerg Plads 3 between 12:00 and 15:30. Make sure that you know your team mates' T-shirt sizes.
- Timekeeping Each baton is equipped with a timekeeping chip. Baton and timekeeping chip are to be returned once the team’s final runner passes the finish line. All runners please be aware that the timekeeping is electronic, which means that the start time is individual – the timekeeping chip is activated when passing the start line. You do not have to start out in front to win the relay race.
- The route Each runner runs 2.5 km. The route is 1.25 km and is to be run two times consecutively by each runner. After the first lap, the runner is to run through the Novo Nordisk gate. After the second lap, the runner is to run to the left through the “Finish” gate, after which the baton is handed over to the next runner. The route will be clearly marked. - Relay safety We ask that all runners be considerate towards each other when running close to each other along the route. Please be aware of reversing cars in the parking lot at the end of the route.
- Prizes Prizes and cups are given to the fastest team in each category, just as prizes will be given for the fastest sprints.
Refreshments After the relay race, CBS Sport will hand out water, sandwiches and fruit to all runners from the CBS Sport tent. - Toilets and locker rooms At Solbjerg Plads, toilets are found on all floors. You can change your clothes in the basement by the gym – the stairs is located in the canteen.
- Spectators Spectators are welcome. Please pay attention to the runners when crossing the route.
- Parking There is a limited number of parking spaces in the area. If you park your car in the car park belonging to Frederiksberg Centret, please note that parking is limited to two hours. Please place your bicycle in the bicycle stands located at the perimeter of Solbjerg Plads.
- First aid First aiders will be present in the finish area. The first aiders' tent is located next to the CBS Sport tent.
- Results Immediately after the race (at about 18:00), the results are announced in the running area. You can also see your results at www.ultimate.dk.
- Diplomas After the race, you will be able to print out your CBS Campus Relay diploma at www.ultimate.dk.
